Dalwhinnie Scotch Single Malt Winter’s Frost (Game of Thrones House Stark)

Dalwhinnie Scotch Single Malt Winter’s Frost is one of eight single malts Scotch whiskies made to commemorate the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones. Set to hit shelves in the fall of 2018, this no-age-statement single malt features the sigil for House Stark – a dire wolf.

Distinct notes of overripe apple and pear skin, as well as a touch of honey, and fresh peaches, with a tad too much vanilla. Pretty classic Dalwhinnie. The palate is slightly resinous, with a fair amount of nuttiness and soft spices (crack black peppercorns). The finish is pretty short, with a hint of ginger.
