Uncle Nearest 1884 has a very special and unique personal touch of Nathan “Nearest” Green’s family, the first African-American master distiller on record in the United States.
Sweet notes of corn on the nose with oak dark fruit, barrel char, baking spice, chocolate and a hint of vanilla. The palate is rich with fruit, and oak with notes of corn, spice, toffee, cocoa nibs followed by an oaky finish with spice and leathery notes.
